GOT A GROUP? GOT SKYPE?
As a new service, I am available to conduct video chats with Writer’s Groups or Book Clubs. Drop a line to the email address above with information about your group and what kind of session you are interested in.
Of course, I am also available to speak to clubs, civic organizations, schools, and writer’s conferences on a wide variety of topics. If I do say so myself, I am known for being a witty and animated speaker, using my various skills to involve the entire audience (click here to see a brief review of one of my appearances).
For information about my availability and speaking fees, please contact me at the e-mail address above.
Below are some topics that I’ve spoken on in the past. I can also custom design speeches for specific audiences, and can talk on a number of Christian related subjects.
THE IDEA IS THE EASY PART
An audience participation class that takes attendees through the process of developing story ideas into a viable project. This one is an audience favorite!
THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS OF BECOMING A PUBLISHED WRITER
An entertaining look at “How I did it.”
EVERYTHING YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO ASK A WRITER
A free-form Q & A session, usually accompanied by a reading from an in-progress work.
I also do readings from my various works, and can tailor the reading to your gathering’s theme (if any). This includes readings from existing novels or short fictions, soemthing from the latest book (always a nice plug for me), or a selection from a work in progress (which I think are particularly cool – I always think it’s neat to hear excerpts from something while it’s being worked on).
I’m very happy that you will be re-releasing your out of print novels and unpublished books via Thief Media. However, I don’t own a eReader. Do you plan to re-release/release them in print?
Thanks for asking. Yes, I do have plans to do print-on-demand versions of the re-releases for those readers who still prefer paper.
Thanks!! I plan to buy “Company Man” when it’s re- released in Print. Will you release unpublished works in Print also?
